Second Form Latin

After completing First Form, students are ready to move on to Second Form.

In Second Form, students will begin translating using nouns in all 5 cases. They will also learn the 3rd and 4th Conjugations (active indicative), and the present passive of the 1st-4th Conjugations. Students will expand on their knowledge of adjectives and adverbs from First Form and will learn an additional 180 vocabulary words.

Students can expect to spend 30-45 minutes per day on Latin

This class meets twice a week for 45 minutes. The class is interactive, and students will be expected to participate actively.

Documentation of high school credit is available for students taking this class in 8th grade (state-permitting) or above.
